Why Health Coaching?

It wasn’t until I started looking into nutrition courses that I heard of health coaching. Although health coaching has been around for quite a few years, it’s not until recently it’s started to gain some popularity. Health coaches tend to take a more holistic approach to health by addressing the root cause of problems and symptoms.

How are health coaches different from other medical professionals?

Health coaches play a unique role in the health and wellness system. They can help bridge the gap between wellness professionals and patients. They can help clients develop strategies for lasting lifestyle changes.

Nutritionists can provide lists of foods to eat and not eat and advise on certain health effects of food. Most people already know this but haven’t been able to put it into practise.

Therapists treat psychological problems but often don’t provide clear action steps or look at food in relation to mood.

Doctors tend to fix a problem through a pill or prescription but don’t address the root cause of symptoms.

Health Coaches address the root cause and guide clients in holistic healing, addressing all areas of life.

Information vs Transformation

In this day and age information is abundant. We all know (or can Google) what we should be doing but actually putting it into practise can be harder. That’s where health coaching comes in. With my 6-month program we will address root cause of your problems. I will provide support in a safe space, allowing you to understand and trust yourself, leading to sustainable, long-term transformation.

If you’re interested in my 6-month program and would like to book a free 50 minute consultation you can do so here.

Let me know if you have any questions by popping them in the comments box below. Have a great day!
